Greg Van Beuren

Greg Van Beuren serves as Managing Director and Partner at Bluestone Capital Partners. He brings nearly 15 years of focus helping middle-market companies maximize value through mergers and acquisitions to his position

Greg’s long tenure and focus on the aerospace, defense and government services sector has enabled him work with companies that specialize in a wide range of products and services, including information technology, systems engineering, mission systems, defense electronics, secure communications, software and non-IT government outsourced services, to name a few.  His clients have served virtually every agency of the federal government, including intelligence, defense, civilian and law enforcement organizations.

Greg’s extensive transaction experience has afforded him an opportunity to close transactions with many of the industry’s leading companies, including Booz Allen Hamilton, DRS Technologies, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), ICF International, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, L-3 Communications, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, SRA International and many more.   He has also closed transactions with leading private equity groups, including Arlington Capital Partners, Carlyle Group and New Mountain Capital.

Prior to joining Bluestone, Greg was a Managing Director with BB&T Capital Markets (formerly Windsor Group, LLC) where he served from 1998 until 2011.  Prior to joining Windsor Group, Greg was a Strategy Consultant with Dove Consulting (now Hitachi Consulting), where he provided due diligence advice in support of M&A transactions; was a Business Analyst with American Management Systems (AMS); and a Marketing Analyst with CyberMark, formerly a Sallie Mae company.

Greg holds a master's degree in business administration from American University, a bachelor's degree in history from Loyola University, and completed coursework in Negotiation Strategies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Greg is a board member and current president of the National Capital Region of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), an organization that has recognized Greg as a finalist for Investment Banker of the Year.
